GoFundMe – Legal Defense Fund

People have asked, “What can we do to stop this?” Time and time it has been said, “There is no legal recourse in stopping the slaughterhouse project in Tyler County.”

Over the last several months, we have been feverishly working out the details of a legal defense for our county.

Concerned citizens… We are pleased to announce there are, indeed, legal options!

We have retained legal representation. Dallas J. Barrington, with the law firm of Roebuck, Thomas, Roebuck, and Adams, will be representing all of us who are opposed to the East Texas Packing Company slaughterhouse project.

Through a few private, generous benefactors, Concerned Citizens of Tyler County has been able to fund the first stage of what will undoubtedly be a long, expensive battle.

We are NOT going into this seeking compromise, rather we are in it to win it.

We are the spark that starts the fire. We are the storm.
